A strain I’ve never actually heard of, I was enticed by her strain description and name.

Hello my sweet stoners! Happy Tuesday to you all, and I hope it’s been a great start to your January week.

I’ve got a toasty review lined up for y’all, of a strain name I’ve never actually heard of. Today, we’re reviewing Pallet Town.

Low and behold the details on this girl

Purchased from Northeast Alliance cannabis delivery company, I was enticed by their description of her being a euphoric and relaxed indica hybrid. Their notes of cheese on the nose and taste also perked up my attention. So I called these folks up and in no time I had Pallet Town in my grinder.

The cultivator, who goes by Monkey Jones, is someone I’m not too familiar with. I saw them featured on a Green Truck instagram post and checked out his profile from there. His flowers look chunky, heavy, and grown with the care for the patients and plant in mind.

Pallet Town is clearly not a very common strain name, and so I reached out to MJ himself to get the facts. PT is the lovechild from crossing Milkbone F2 & Tasty Waves, and created by Treedom Genetics. That is about the extent of information I could find on the ‘ol girl.

So we know the delivery company is cool and the grower himself is passionate, but how is the flower? Well. Let’s chat.

Upon opening up our jar, I was instantly hit with a spicy, grassy smell. My nose swelled with lots of floral as well. When I broke up the nug in my hand, I didn’t notice too many more aromas jump out at me, more-so the same aroma from when I opened the jar. Not a super powerful smell, but certainly one worth noting.

The cure was soft, but not too squishy. She was dense, but not rock hard. The texture from the grinder is halfway between soft and rough as well. Dense is her middle name, as I took a couple popcorn nugs for this review, and they ended up filling up about 50% of the grinder. I love grinding up small nugs and getting way more than expected, don’t we all?

Alright baby, the taste. I loaded her up in the ‘ol faithful double perc bong, and set her ablaze. The most prominent flavor I picked up was earthiness. Quite frankly, that was the only flavor I really noticed. The smell is definitely more floral and spicy, whereas the taste lies more earthy. We like Mother Nature, so I don’t mind tasting her. A little harsh down the throat I will say.

A frosty trichome-y stack for y’all

And we’ve arrived at the part where I talk about the effects, and boy, did she leave some. First off, the munchies came in HARD after indulging. It doesn’t help that I don’t eat a lot, but still. I’m starving now yo. When I held in her smoke, my body felt a sense of relief throughout. My eyes began to get heavy, and I lost myself in the sound of the lo-fi music that was playing in the background. This is the type of strain to absolute veg out and relax too. I found myself staring off into space multiple times, almost hypnotized by her thought-provoking ways. Not sure if it’s really a social high though, as the thought of interacting with others wasn’t ideal after enjoying.

Overall, Pallet Town by Monkey Jones is gonna receive a 7.5/10 today. I really dig the high this strain gives, IF in the right setting. After trying more and more, I realized she gave me slight social anxiety. However, when enjoyed alone or with my girl, I’m washed over with a sense of relaxation and bliss. The aromas were on point, but I just wasn’t feeling too much flavor on taste. That could be me though! Nonetheless, I would highly recommend a try indeed.

I appreciate y’all taking the time to read this blog, and my thoughts on Pallet Town. I freaking love to write, especially about cannabis. So I’m happy to share my creativity with the masses. Also, always smoke locally grown flower.

Cheers my friends,
