Hey hey! We back y’all, and we doing well. Good ol’ Maine has been getting dumped on with snow and sleet, but luckily inside ya girl be bringing the HEAT!

How’d ya like that? Hehe.

Alright people. Let’s get into this Mendo Breath and get this review a shaking!

Late last December, I was lucky enough to win a giveaway held by a cute locally owned shop called Maine Only. Just like the name, this shop in Bridgton is dedicated to only providing Maine made creations from Mainer owned business. This was my first visit to the shop ever, and I fell in love with the atmosphere. Actual birch trees propped up, string lights on the ceilings, and beautiful staging for their merchandise. I highly would recommend a visit to see for yourself!

Mendo Breath has been purchased by ya girl before, but in concentrate form and from other folks. This will be the first {flower} strain review on MB, and here’s what I found: she is the lovechild of OGKB (OG Kush Breath) & Mendo Montage. Known to be heavier on the indica side, MB is wonderful for relieving pain and discomfort. She is best recommended for nighttime use as she tends to be potent af and could put ya out for the night. Finally, she tends to have sweet vanilla and caramel notes on the nose.

Damn, don’t she sound wonderful. Let’s freakin’ dig in y’all!

I decided to switch things up and rolled up a jibba for this review. Using organic hemp papers of course! Let’s go over the initial sights:

Smell: a little musty and earthy. The aromas reminded me of an abandoned barn smell but with fresh a garden inside. Kinda know what I mean? The aromas are strong, and flew up into my nose immediately upon opening her jar.

Cure: between soft and dry, she leans slightly more dry. However, when ground up, she has a nice soft sandy texture that grinds up very nicely. Very easy to roll with as well, which is always a plus.

Now that we know what we’re working with, let us dig in on tastes and effects.

I can confidently say, this particular Mendo Breath smokes absolutely stunningly rolled up. A nice peppery ash followed, she was far from harsh on the throat, with nice thick white clouds on the exhale. Not too many predominant tastes on the palate, but nonetheless a pleasant smoke. I had tried MB in my bong at an earlier point, but y’all. This is great joint smoking bud. Rolled up nicely, smoked evenly, and her effects came through on a much stronger level through a joint.

That being said, the effects are definitely indica leaning. As usual for me, the high immediately started with a heavy weight behind the eyes. When my eyes are feeling super slumped after even a couple hits, I always know it’s going to be a body slumper too, and may leave me couch locked. Mendo Breath gave me more of a motivated relaxed feeling. I didn’t feel useless after enjoying. I felt body aches start to slowly diminish, and my mind becoming more at ease. Tension? Gone. Stress? Don’t know her. A good nights rest? Mendo Breath has served.

Overall, these fine nugs are gonna earn an 8/10 from yours truly. I think the aromas and high were AWESOME! I sleep so fucking well after enjoying this strain, and I would absolutely recommend best rolled up. My only drawbacks were the cure (that’s me though, you may like it differently!) and the very subtle flavors on taste. Otherwise, this is a damn good nighttime strain y’all.

I do hope you enjoyed the read, and do take it easy for ya girl now!

Cheers,
