Neville’s Berry Haze by Honeyheart Apothecary

Neville’s Berry isn’t super well known, but with the way she smokes, she’s becoming a quick fave for ya girl.

Happy (late) March my friends, ya girl is alive and well, and back on the blog!

I apologize for the hiatus, life has been crazy busy lately and I just haven’t had the time to truly write a new article. That hiatus is over though. We back baby.

Ya girl has officially moved out of southern Maine and has landed a new spot in Lewiston! The good ol’ Dirty Lew. This is the first time I’m moving in with a significant other, and I couldn’t be more happy I’m living with the woman I call mine. Plus, there are a number of great shops in the area, and I’m eager to take a peek at them all!

In the meantime, let me bring you a new strain to feast on: Neville’s Berry Haze.

Bred exclusively for the former Sensei Sensei shop (now under Cloud 9 Medicinal with new management) by Lucky Duck Seed Co, NBH doesn’t have too much internet information on her, but here’s what I gathered from the grower, HoneyHeart Apothecary:

If I remember correctly, the parents were Neville’s Haze and Strawberry Cough, but I am not 100% sure. I do know another pheno from the same cross was named Sweet Berry Haze.

I don’t think I’ve had SC in ages. I do know she tends to be a heavy sativa with lots of strawberry notes, and the Neville’s Haze also is a strong sativa, with lots of hazy qualities, so I’ve read.

A little about the grower, Honeyheart Apothecary is a 2-person team that cultivates aromatic flowers, as well as a specialty on edible strain-specific honeys. Nestled in Midcoast Maine, these two take pride in the products they produce, and the results are very clear. They are making their way to southern Maine, with products appearing in Atlantic Farms in Portland.

When I first opened that jar, oh MAN was I hit with intense sours, citrus, and wicked haziness. Incredibly attractive on the nose, NBH had a nice tight and desirable cure, with solid stickiness if you play with the nugs. At this point, Neville’s Berry Haze was already at a high rank in my book.

Let us dive into the actual effects of this gorgeous green girl. I noticed incredible haziness on the exhale, but nothing too prominent on the inhale. I felt pressure behind my eyes almost immediately, so I’m already getting those Indica vibes. I noticed a very focused, clear-minded high. I grabbed my camera and immediately wanted to buckle down on a couple photo shoots I’ve been meaning to do. The high from NBH allowed me to have razor sharp focus with the task at hand, and the inspiration for different angles of images flooded me. At the same time though, she wasn’t intense enough to cause any sort of mental discomfort. In fact, she even brought some cerebral relief to sore bones. Since I’m not much of a sativa girl, this is a great high to experience when smoking, in my opinion!

All in all, Neville’s Berry Haze by Honeyheart Apothecary is receiving a well deserved 9/10. Truly just about every aspect of the nug itself and the high checked my boxes. The only thing though, I didn’t personally get a clear inhale taste. I’m not like you though, so don’t let this deter you from trying to locate NBH and giving her a try. I absolutely do believe she is worth it.

Enjoy the amazing weather out there folks, and smoke a fat one for ya girl.
Cheers,
