Captain’s Cake by Pure207
This here is ye ol’ Captain’s Cake cultivated with love by Pure207 in Midcoast Maine. Now I say “ye ol” because she is one of, if not the only, Pure’s longest running phenos they have. They swear by this girl, but how does she compete with the other delights I’ve been so thankful to have in the past?
She does her job and looks damn good doing it.
Captain is an offspring of GSC & White Fire Alien OG and was originally bred from The Captain’s Collection. Being the result of two OG heavy strains, Captain certainly boasts a lot of her parent’s heritage. GSC, I’ve talked about her several times, is a great hybrid and tends to have an earthy aroma with pepper and citrus on her taste. Upon opening Captain, I totally noticed that enjoyable sweet earthy aroma, but also picked up a lot of that on the taste as well. WFA tends to taste peppery and citrusy too, however I’ve never tried such a strain and found this from Leafly.
WARNING !!
She will get you high as f*ck if not properly dosed for medicating. If you like to feel super stoned though, go ahead and take a fat rip of this girl.
The effects were certainly apparent and quick with the Captain. Certainly an uplifting and euphoric high, but has the ability to be heavy if you let her. When I inhale the Captain I’m immediately feeling a rush through my body, and as I exhale I can feel stress literally melt away. The effects set in quick for me and camped for a while. I see why Pure207 kept her around for so long.
Overall, this ‘ol girl is getting a fat 9/10 from me today. She really outdid herself on the bag appeal, full of color and beautiful trichomes, making her just so enjoyable to photograph. Soft to the touch, flavorful on the palate, the Captain’s Cake by Pure207 is a strain I would suggest you all to try. If you’re a lighter smoker, try a hit or two. The effects certainly didn’t wait around, so small dosing might just be perfect for you. As for my heavy hitters, go ahead and clear a bowl of the Captain and see where the euphoric and creative high gets you.
Y’all should know what to do but as always,
Stay blazed my people,
