DJ Shorts Blueberry is in the house y’all.
DSB is an indica leaning strain, and is a cross of Purple Thai & Thai strains. She is a very popular and sought out genetic, and is said to be considered THE West Coast Blueberry varietal (Leafly). Created from Asian born genetics, DBS is not a common strain around, but my boy Midcoast Media Productions just so happens to have a cut.
With lots of earthy and piney notes, DSB is a very strong, sedating indica strain. She is known to relax your mind, and put all stressors at ease. Now that’s according to Leafly, so let’s see how this Midcoast grown baby compares.
The frost is real
Upon opening her bag, DSB immediately hit me with a sweet, woody sensation. With a hint of pine also. I really appreciate the aromas on this flower as they’re prominent, rather than a very subtle fragrance.
The nugs were incredibly dense and structured. Clean and tight trim job, she certainly had the bag appeal. A mostly green nug with light bits of purple throughout describe her coloring.
Let’s go for the effects now.
A stronger hitting smoke, the DSB from MMP has those same sweet and woody notes on the taste, with lovely bits of pine seeping through. I noticed a nice heavy mental sensation at first, until that same sensation started to melt throughout my body.
Hungry, tired, and creative are my top adjectives for this flower. I tend to do a lot of my CG work at night, and even after smoking this heavy indica, I find myself being very creative with her. I see myself mapping out future shoots, how to plan my next video, or how to perfect the next blog. DSB helped me locate my creative edge, even late at night.
She knows how to pose
Overall, my buddy at MMP has grown a beautiful dense and flavorful DJ Shorts Blueberry. If i’m not mistaken, I don’t believe I’ve tried this strain before. After trying MMP’s though, I’m definitely considering her a top strain in my book. That being said, she’s earned a beautiful 9/10 today. I’m so pleased with how she smoked and how she photographed. Well done, homie!
