Happy Thursday my stoners! How are we surviving this summer? Well I hope!
Despite Covid being a thing, I’m having a lovely summer.
To make my summer better, Clean Slate gifted me with another nug to review for y’all, and take a look at this beauty:

Sour Animal originally bred by SeedyJunky is our featured strain, folks. She is a clean, green, stress-fighting MACHINE!
SA is a lineage of Sour Diesel and Animal Cookies, and you can really pick up the effects of both. Clean Slate cultivated her with love and she is certainly a beauty by looks. SD is a very strong famous sativa, which I see SA gets a lot of her alertness and euphoria from. AC, who I haven’t yet had the pleasure of trying, reads to be more on the hybrid side, and tends to give the user a body-relaxing feeling with slight tiredness.
Upon opening her jar, I was immediately hit with a nice woody and citrus wave, immediately uplifting my mood. She was dense, thick, and heavy. Covered in frosty trichomes, with bits of purple and lots of green all over her. SA definitely is approved on bag appeal.

On taste though, I really couldn’t pick up much. A number of factors now could’ve prevented myself from being able to taste her, and if so my apologies on that, but even after bowls later in the day I wasn’t picking up on any flavor. Certainly I’m not upset by this, in fact, I’m happy. I would rather my flower have a “nothing” taste, then to taste like garbage. So needless to say, no taste makes me just as happy as a flavorful flower (although strong flavor profiles are awesome). Best part though: NO HARSHNESS IN THE THROAT! We love non-harsh flower!
The effects were prominent and immediate for me. I was mentally stimulated and almost “awoken” by the flower, despite it being 11 am or so when I first tried her. She gave me a head rush for her, that did linger on my eyes, causing them to feel a little heavy. After a couple intakes, my body was starting to feel super relaxed. Not numbing, but the perfect amount of comfort. I felt chatty and productive afterwards, making her a great daytime strain for sure.
Overall, Sour Animals is getting a hot 8/10 from the Coastal Girl. She hits all my levels, looks awesome, and feels so great after enjoying. I would highly recommend her if you have some errands or work to get done, want to see some friends, or just want to get some things done around the house. Sour Animal is a great flower to tackle even the toughest challenges and pain! Absolutely grab some if ya can.
