Mendo Z Stomper by Laughing Lobster Cannabis

What’s going on, people! You remember me? It’s ya girl, back from the dead and in with a fresh review.
This has been a wild summer. Work, pandemic, the heat wave, and more. Nonetheless, I’m going to make a strong effort to be more active for the few dedicated folks out there.
Anywho, let’s talk about weed. The flower I’m chiefing on today is Mendo Z Stomper coming in from Laughing Lobster LLC & purchased at Above Board Cannabis in Auburn (definitely worth a stop if you’re in L/A). Fun fact: this was the first strain I tried from LL, and the first purchase (I think?) I made at Above Board. Lotsa firsts!
Created by Sunken Treasure Seeds, Mendo Z Stomper is a potent cross of Mendo Breath x OZ Kush x Grape Stomper. I found she’s an indica-leaning strain with incredible euphoric and pain-numbing effects. I’ve tried, and reviewed, Mendo Breath in the past and remember it being a strong indica, and knocked ya girl out. Indica heavyweight OZ Kush and daytime smoking Grape Stomper are strains ya girl has not tried.
an enticing side profile
When I opened the bag I’m immediately hit with an earthy sensation. The nugs burst with stronger earthy aromas, with beautiful hints of skunkiness. Visually, MZS boasted beautiful light green leaves, with dominant orange pistils scattered through the flowers. Tasteful bits of purple, and covered in a light blanket of trichomes. The looks and smells passed, but did the smoke?
Packed up in the ‘ol faithful bong, this strain sent me off into a whole other universe. Upon first hit, I already had felt heaviness in my eyes and my mind had eased up. As I Inhaled some more, the eyes grew heavier and the high felt stronger.
The immediate tastes I noticed was earthiness with light skunky undertones, but I also picked up on a lot of “smokiness.” Yes I know I inhaled smoke but you know that taste difference you get with food when its cooked on an open fire? That kind of smokiness. A desirable taste, but that was really it as far as tastes for me.
the macro lens did her well
The Mendo Z Stomper from Laughing Lobster had me feeling heavily medicated, even off just a couple bong rips. A clear creative flow followed, with a relaxed, low-anxiety daze. I thoroughly enjoyed MZS and hope I see her out again soon. Mendo Z Stomper is getting a lovely 8/10 from The Coastal Girl.
