Grease Monkey by The Maine Dankery

A new to me hybrid, and bred by one of the country’s most popular breeders, she is sure to be a hit.

Happy Wednesday my stoners, it’s another chilly day in November here in good ‘ol Maine. I realize I probably start every blog like this, but it’s what’s currently good! Besides, I don’t want to focus on politics, this is about weed, mothafuckas!

Today we’re reviewing a strain that hits deep, looks good, and has a name I’m sure everyone is familiar with.

Oh she knows she’s pretty

Pictured above is Grease Monkey, a hybrid strain bred by the pros at Exotic Genetics. Her parents, are famous Gorilla Glue #4 & Cookies and Cream, I’ve tried classic GG4 but haven’t tried C&C. According the handy-dandy Leafly, GM is a skunky, earthy, sweet flower that tends to give you a nice heavy cerebral buzz. Ideal for those suffering with nausea, insomnia, and stress. I read some Leafly user reviews as well, and a majority of them also agreed that she is a fighter against pain, and will certainly help you relax after a long day.

GM was gifted by The Maine Dankery, a medical delivery service that ranges from Midcoast Maine, the Southern Highlands area, and west of Hancock County. I was able to find this info under their FAQ page on their website, which answers all the questions that a patient may have.

So, we went over a little about our GM and our cultivator, but now it’s time do dive in and finally try the ‘ol girl.

Upon opening our container, aromas of skunk and sweet earth rush to my nose. GM is known for those scents, so far Leafly and TMD are in unison.

When I finally inhaled that first hit, I can just FEEL how heavy the smoke is. When you inhale a great hit, you can feel the medicinal effects of cannabis immediately start to go to work. My body relaxes, and mind already starts to calm upon that first hit of GM. She is a tad harsh and does leave a little sting.

In the taste department, the skunk and earth are also apparent. I found these flavors to be rather subtle, but definitely there. I have said previously that I do like strong palates for flower, however, the way this GM hits is making me rethink my standard on flavor.

The folks at Leafly were on point when they said she is a sedating, heavy relaxer-type strain.

Ya girl agrees 100%.

The way this Grease Monkey is hitting, it’s making me think I took a fat dab of some stinky hash rosin. She hits heavy, strong, and will leave you in a relaxing, yet positive space. I would personally highly recommend her for physical pain, insomnia, and stress.

Overall, I believe this Grease Monkey by The Maine Dankery deserves some serious props, and serious consideration. She’s getting a big ‘ol 9/10, because she hits the way I want flower to hit, is incredibly loud, and sedates me just how I need. I will say, I do like my terps in the palate, but hey this girl is certainly worth a try in my opinion. Hey TMD, please let ya girl know when this beauty is available in concentrate form.

That’s how we gonna conclude my friends, stay high on that local supply, and hope that the American people can see the light on this election.

Cheers,
