GMO Hash Rosin by Other Level Gardens

It’s been a while since I’ve dabbed rosin, but this is nothing like what I’ve had before.

Happy Tuesday, stoners! The weather really is cooling down now, and hoodie season is inevitably approaching.

I always find that a nice dab usually warm the soul. At least it might make ya sweat!

Especially the gram I’m about to show y’all. You may as well have a seat and take those damn socks off, because this GMO is sure as hell gonna do it for you.

You’ll notice these images don’t have the usual solid color backdrop, because I was out and about after purchasing this gram. So I decided to show her off with the natural colors and lighting of the world.

We have GMO Live Rosin today folks, coming in from Other Level Gardens out of Lewiston area, Maine. Other Level were the ones behind the GMO flower herself, producing the gassy girl with love indoors, and then washed and pressed in the Other Level Hash Lab, by Mainely Organic Melts. It wasn’t until COVID that the hash lab at Other Level was born, but we’re here to talk about this baddie who I was lucky enough to get my hands on.

Purchased at The Green Alchemist Co in Winslow, I opened this lil jar IMMEDIATELY when I got back in the car, as I had been so eager to give this rosin a try.

I was absolutely SMACKED with heavy cheese and gas terps. What a wonderful way to say hello. If the dabs don’t smack me with some sort of strong terpene, we may run into problems. No problems here, just a very loud gram of concentrates.

Up close and personal

Before we get into the details of how this baby smoked, let’s get edumacated.

What is Rosin?

Taken from my new book, Beyond Buds: Next Generation by Ed Rosenthal, rosin is defined as:

Rosin is a concentrated blend of terpenes and cannabinoids extracted using a method sometimes called “rosin tech.” It’s the simplest, least expensive way to extract concentrates from raw buds or hash for more effective dabbing.

In our specific case, we have Hash Rosin, meaning that the flower grown was frozen, then washed, and made into hash. Finally then pressed at preferred temperature, and then cures longer in the freezer. It’s a super cool process that I would love to learn. There’s several types of rosin, but we can get into that another day. Let’s focus on what we’ve got from Other Level Gardens today.

Alas, I only have a nectar collector for this review but nonetheless, the flavors and effects still reign through.

So we know the GMO is incredibly loud, and absolutely reeks up the room she’s in. As far as taste, there is no subtleness.

On the exhale I picked up on lots of cheese. A very funky, gassy cheese. This flower was washed and pressed so well, that I can taste the GMO clear as day, and the effects are straight to the body. The smoke is incredibly potent and heavy, so if you feel inclined to take a huge dab, definitely be careful. You will cough your lil stoner heart out!

An intense indica rush laps a couple minutes after dabbing, but once she settles, it’s a very pleasant, indica leaning, sedating but not couch-locking high. It’s a super pleasant dab, whether you’re about to grab some dinner or heading to bed, I definitely thing she’s a great trigger for hunger and tiredness.

I really enjoy this gram, and I’ve savored her from when I first purchased her in early September. Rosin along this quality isn’t cheap, and really one dab of this gas really is all I personally need. Since she’s so heavy, taking a moderate hit with my nectar collector puts me in an ideal mood.

All in all, this lovely GMO Rosin is getting a FAT 10/10 from your girl! She has surpassed all my standards and has helped me fall back in love with concentrates again, especially rosin. The aromas are intense and particular, and the taste is on point with those same gassy aromas that GMO is so known for. She is not a gram for the faint at heart, but if you’re looking for potent medicine that truly has strong terpenes and the heavy smoke to follow, definitely grab yourselves a gram of this GMO.
