Good afternoon my cannabis intakers, it has been a while since you’ve heard from me but I promise, I’m still here.
Clean Slate Cannabis is awesome, let me just say. They hooked your girl up with a couple fine ass looking nugs for photographs and reviews. Leading off, we got the Citron.
Citron Cookies is going to be a sativa leaning strain, this line being originally bred from the famous geneticists’ Cannarado out in Colorado. CC is a cross between two famous strains, Jilly Bean and Girl Scout Cookies (if you haven’t heard of these babies, do you even smoke?!). I’ve come across Jilly only once before, and she gave me beautiful uplifting and sociable energy. Jilly tends to be heavy on the herbal and peppery notes, while GSC is more on the citrus and herb. GSC is one of the most famous, sought after, continually bred cannabis strains. I’ve tried GSC many a time and she is always has leaned towards a sativa-heavier hybrid from my experience, with of course boasting in limonene terps.
When I opened her bag, she hit me with all kinds of herbaceous and citrus notes. I always looove a loud nug, they make me so happy. Limonene has to be one of my favorite cannabinoids as strains strong with her are always strong on the citrus aromas and taste, and plus limonene helps alleviate anxious and depressed feelings. As far as taste, definitely tasted both strains. There were lots of pepper, herb, and citrus flavor profiles, telling me she certainly takes a lot from her parents.
From what I gathered in Citron is that she smokes more like a hybrid for me. A bit of an energy boost, definitely more chatty, and overall a good relaxed feeling strain. My eyes did a little heavy, but that happens almost every time for me. I wouldn’t smoke her as a pick-me-up (coffee still wins that area), but most certainly a nice relaxer smoke for daytime breaks, or even possibly before bed depending on your exhaustion level.
Overall, this baby is gonna receive an 8/10 from the Coastal Girl today. To the touch, she was very soft and pleasant, which tells me the cure of her was on point (not too dry, but not too moist, a happy medium). The flavors were prevalent and the aromas were blissful, sadly though the strong sativa-ness wasn’t there. A great sativa leaning hybrid for sure, so definitely take a toke of her if you’re on break, as she does help make me chatty personally.
As always y’all, stay high for ya girl.
Cheers,
