Officially a Licensed Caregiver

My dream has finally come true

Gooood day my cannabis people! The heat wave is settling in Maine, hope you’re staying hydrated, and I hope you’re keeping any planted babies hydrated too!

I’ve got some awesome news:

I’m officially a Licensed Medical Marijuana Program Caregiver for the good ol’ state of Maine.

Man, I’m so f*cking happy my goals are coming into place! This has been a much awaited task I’ve been eager to check off. Now that the licensing is settled, what’s next?

Patients. Sales tax. Trip Tickets.

Those three items are my next to check off and execute.

Patients - how could you be successful without them?

  • They are the ones in need. Patients are our customer base, so legal Medical Marijuana Program card holders are what the key to success.

  • You want to please your patients. Satisfaction of your patients are what’s going to keep you afloat. If you’re in it for the profits, then likely your patient satisfaction radar isn’t working. Pay attention to them, listen to their requests, and do your best to accommodate every scenario.

  • Appreciate your patients. Show them you care for their needs. Toss em a preroll every so often, or give set up patient rewards. Whatever it takes to keep your patients coming back!

Sales Tax - the fee for the business world

  • According to state law, if you’re selling some sort of tangible good, property, or service, you need to charge the appropriate tax.

  • Medical Marijuana is in fact a taxable item here in Maine.

  • Thus, requiring all MMMP sellers to register for sales/use tax for the state of Maine, and pay said taxes when necessary.

Trip Tickets - so the state knows where ya going with the precious herb

  • These are ways to keep tabs on medical marijuana products being transferred throughout the state.

  • Whether you’re going from the farm to the store, the store to home, or from home to patients, you need to record where, when, who, and how much.

  • The Office of Marijuana Policy in Maine has trip ticket forms available, which certainly makes it easy to obtain.

Along with other categories such as compliance, rules, packaging, etc these are my latest take-ons. Understanding them is key, so achieving and being in compliance can be as painless as possible (HA, sorta).

I’m very motivated to overcome any challenges that come in my way and to be the best caregiver I can be for my future patients. Which speaking of,

ya girl is accepting new medical marijuana patients. I accept out of state as well, but you must be able to travel to the Portland area of Maine in order for me to accommodate your requests.

To become a patient of mine, register here. When we meet in person, I’ll ask you to sign a designation form.

Don’t have a med card? get one here!

Whew, lots of info. Luckily, that’s all I’m gonna dump on y’all today. I’ve got some Blue Dream Haze staring me in the eyes and begging to be smoked.

As always y’all,

Stay high,
